App right-sizes websites for phones

A "special piece of software," called bemokoLive, helps optimize websites on different phones, simplifying navigation "without the problem of unreadable pages or non- displaying images or video," says Mat Diss, co-founder of UK-based bemoko, in a press report. The company demonstrated the software recently at a conference held in Munich for pharmaceutical giant Boehringer Ingelheim, producing a website specifically for the event. The drugmaker wanted to find out whether people in the pharma industry were interested in using Twitter, according to the report.
