CRO offers InForm EDC platform

INC Research is incorporating Phase Forward's InForm Integrated Trial Management EDC solution into the global CRO's offerings. INC, which provides clinical, data and late-phase services as well as therapeutic expertise for central nervous system, oncology and infectious diseases, has developed its Trusted Process methodology for outsourced drug development. The company says the process reduces variability in trial outcomes and yields actionable data at project completion.

INC executive vice president Alistair Macdonald says the CRO has seen increasing demand for the use of InForm, due to the scale and complexity of customers' trials.

INC recently agreed to acquire the Phase 2-4 operations of MDS Pharma Services, known for its work in vaccine, respiratory, cardiovascular and endocrinology clinical research. The acquisition will expand INC's footprint to nearly 2,000 employees and operations in 40 countries.
