CRO, EDC system feature standards, too
Data management and CDISC-format biostatistics are among the capabilities to be provided by CRO Synteract as it opens an office in Prague, Czech Republic, this summer. The office will also provide regulatory, site management and monitoring, pharmacovigilence and project management services.
CEO Ellen Morgan says in an announcement that Synteract is responding to requests from clients to expand internationally and that Prague "is an excellent area for patient recruitment."
Separately, Aris Global has unveiled agCapture, an integrated solution for capturing, managing and reporting clinical research data. The hosted software-as-a-service offering permits integration with third-party software, including safety and CTMS.
The system is based on software developed by Aris Global and InferMed, maker of decision-support and data-capture solutions. It provides interconnection with the ARISg pharmacovigilance system for SAE reconciliation and case processing, and interoperability with such clinical systems as central labs, ePRO, interactive voice response systems (IVRS), and clinical trial management systems for end-to-end trial management. Interactive tools for study definition, online and off-line remote data entry, and remote study monitoring aid in study setup.
