CRO adopts online regulatory publishing system

Acronym aficionados take note: CRO has sprouted the subcategory PRO, for pharmaceutical research organization.

One such company, which shall remain unnamed, has selected Mission3's Internet-based OnDemand system for client regulatory publishing worldwide. The research organization is said to be seeking to expand its services line so it can offer end-to-end client solutions.

OnDemand is "a regulatory submission authoring and publishing platform," according to a Mission3 announcement. It includes some 300 regulatory templates, web-authoring capabilities, library services, security, access control, electronic signatures, and rendering. The software platform is 21 CFR 11 compliant, the company says, and available in both Internet and SaaS versions.
