Company debuts SaaS document management

Regulatory document management via web interface is available from newcomer Moonbay Technology. The PIPELINE EDM software as a service offering helps manage documentation through electronic submissions.

Moonbay founder Jill Iacopi provided regulatory affairs consulting prior to founding the company. As document-management competition, Moonbay is facing the likes of NextDocs, Mission3, CDC, EMC, Virtify, and Open Text

The service meets 21 CFR Part 11 requirements and encompasses regulatory document management, e-publishing, compliance, and clinical management, according to an announcement. Included are modules for research, nonclinical and clinical activities, safety, quality, chemistry manufacturing and controls, and regulatory affairs, leading to submission-ready documentation.
