CTMS scorecard helps Columbia handle financials
Columbia University Medical Center used a 133-requirement scorecard in its evaluation of clinical trial management systems. Requirement categories were regulatory, clinical, administrative and financial, the last of which allowed the center to address some significant shortcomings: minimal oversight over payment cycles, difficulty tracking budget items, failure to spot revenue opportunities, and budget management conducted independently throughout various departments.
