Bio-Optronics system augments site CTMS
Another clinical trial automation system is helping to push trial data deeper into sponsor company hierarchy for use in higher-level decision-making. Bio-Optronics will launch Clinical Conductor Enterprise, a clinical study management system, this week.
It builds on the company's Clinical Conductor Site CTMS. The company says the enterprise system aids subject recruitment, study execution, regulatory compliance, financial management and communication across clinical research entities. Its tools for cross-boundary collaboration among non-homogeneous practices and information systems "streamlines information sharing through customized portals," says Bio-Optronics CEO Dan Kerpelman.
The system also provides pro-active milestone alerts and tracking. Its subject database provides a search tool for finding matches with research studies.
