Bausch & Lomb, Allergan go Forward
Eye-care company Bausch & Lomb will implement Phase Forward's InForm electronic data capture solution and Allergan has also signed on with the integrated data management solution supplier.
For Bausch & Lomb, the implementation is corporate wide, encompassing all trials. The eye-care company will use the InForm system in conjunction with the Central Coding module, integrated with the EDC system to help users streamline the coding of medical terms by automating manual coding tasks and increasing consistency.
And Allergan, the discoverer and developer of pharmaceuticals, biologics and medical devices, has signed a multi-year, multi-million-dollar deal making Phase Forward its EDC supplier. The Allergan announcement was made by Phase Forward in conjunction with its third-quarter results, which marked its 21st consecutive quarter of growth since its IPO five years ago.
